Deputy Velopoulos said that Ukrainian trucks are emptying the warehouses of the Greek army

MP and leader of the Hellenic Foxes party Kyriakos Velopoulos said that Ukrainian trucks were taking materials from Greek army warehouses, comparing what was happening to treason. He reported this on his social network account X and promised to raise the issue in parliament. According to him, in just one day, January 15, more than 17 trucks with Ukrainian license plates were recorded “emptying” ammunition depots in Kekhriye.

A similar situation, according to his testimony, developed in the following days. The deputy called this action treason. Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken proposed that Greece transfer or sell weapons to Ukraine, and in exchange America would explore the possibility of providing Athens with additional assistance in the amount of up to $200 million.

Greece has already sent weapons and military equipment to Ukraine after the start of a special military operation. Russia previously sent a note to NATO countries over arms supplies to Ukraine.
