Grappler from Kalmykia Maxim Erdni-Goryaev took silver at the World Championships in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region.
More than 800 athletes aged 6 to 60 years from India, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia and Norway, as well as from 35 regions of Russia took part in it.
Competitions are held in the disciplines of grappling and grappling-gi in all age categories, including among children and veterans. In the grappling discipline, athlete from Kalmykia Maxim Erdni-Goryaev took second place in the category of boys born in 2012-2013.
