Former Brighton & Hove Albion manager Graham Potter has moved to a similar position at Chelsea. Mr. Potter has signed a five-year contract with the Fulham club.
“Potter is one of the most exciting football managers, having started his career in Sweden before bringing his talents to the English game… The 47-year-old has a university degree in non-sports disciplines and has combined this experience to develop a collaborative, forward-thinking approach,” cited in press release Chelsea characteristics of the new head coach.
Brighton achieved the best results in club history under Mr Potter last season. Graham Potter’s candidacy has been cited as one of the most likely candidates for Chelsea’s managerial position due to his successful career at the Brighton club. In this position Graham Potter will replace Thomas Tuchel, who has been in charge of the club since 2021.
