Olympique Lyonnais international defender Griedge Mbock, injured in the right knee during the France-Greece match (5-1) on Tuesday in Sedan, will be unavailable for “a minimum of six months”, the Rhone club announced on Thursday.
Mbock suffered a dislocated right knee in the 37th minute of the match, on a non-contact action. Repatriated to Lyon on Wednesday evening, she is hospitalized at the Jean-Mermoz hospital for a more precise diagnosis of her injuries and will be operated on at the beginning of next week.
The French championship resumes this weekend.
