Governor Mazur will pay scholarships to Tomsk athletes

Not only Tomsk athletes, but also coaches will receive gubernatorial payments. This was reported by the administration of the Tomsk region.
In 2023, 44 athletes and coaches were awarded scholarships from the Governor of the Tomsk Region. They represent various regional sports federations – from powerlifting to weightlifting and cross-country skiing.
“The governor’s scholarship for the best Tomsk athletes and their coaches was established in 2005. It is assigned annually to members of the regional national teams included in the list of candidates for the Russian national teams, approved by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, as well as their coaches,” the regional government provided details.
647 thousand rubles will be spent on monthly payments from the budget of the Tomsk region. Their size is 16 and 13 thousand.
