The Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, continued to personally present the tourism potential of the Kuban regions. His next publication under the hashtag #RoutesKuban touched on the Novopokrovsky district. The head of the region emphasized its picturesqueness: steppes, forests and rivers suitable for fishing are presented. “There are also memorable points that are inextricably linked with the rich history of our region – the Cossacks and the Great Patriotic War,” he added. Cordon. The place is suitable for those who like to enjoy the beauty of the steppe. Poppies, feather grass, thyme and other plants typical of this zone grow on the banks of the Eya River. The highlight is the Cossack guard post.
The military garden of the village of Kalnibolotskaya. Now there is a children’s camp “Chaika”, and earlier there were military training camps of the Cossacks.
Historical and Literary Museum. It was organized in the center of the village of Novopokrovskaya – in the house where the writer Arkady Perventsev grew up. Vladimir Mayakovsky once also visited it.
Places for fishing and hunting. The area is home to a wide variety of animals: from hares and foxes to wild boars and elks.
Fedorenko’s hillocks. Reserved places located near the village of Kalnibolotskaya.
Holy Intercession Church. Built before the First World War. The work was supervised by the architect Kosyakin.
