Google Releases Emergency Patch to Address Serious Vulnerability in Chrome

American corporation Google reported about the release of a new patch designed to close a serious vulnerability in the Google Chrome browser. The company recommends that users update their browser as soon as possible.

Google does not disclose the details of the CVE-2023-3079 vulnerability in order to prevent attackers from taking advantage of this. The company noted that the problem lies in the Chrome Java Script V8 engine and that the vulnerability is very dangerous. One of the Google analysts said that the exploit is already known to hackers and is being used. The Google Chrome browser is updated automatically, after which it prompts the user to restart the application, however, Google advises not to wait for automatic updates and update through the settings.
