American corporation Google presented two open source artificial intelligence models Gemma 2B and 7B. They are derived from the Gemini closed language model and are suitable for solving simpler problems, such as creating simplified chatbots.

Where power is lacking, new AI models are faster and can run on laptops, as well as Google Vertex AI, NVIDIA NeMo, Hugging Face and other platforms. It is indicated that Gemma will have tools that will not allow it to be used to create prohibited items, as well as to develop weapons. The main language of the models will be English, and Gemma will also include debugging systems that will be useful for fixing problems and studying the behavior of the AI.

Previously Google provided users of its iOS application have access to the Gemini AI bot (formerly called Bard), and also announced a paid subscription to the advanced language model Gemini Ultra 1.0 for $19.99 per month.
