Google Chrome ranks first in browser vulnerability

This year, the Google Chrome browser had fixed 303 vulnerabilities, which put it in first place among browsers for security holes. This is evidenced by data from research firm Atlas VPN.
Mozilla Firefox is in second place with 117 vulnerabilities, and Microsoft Edge closes the top three with 103 vulnerabilities, a 61% increase over 2021. In the Safari browser, 26 vulnerabilities were discovered this year, and Opera became the safest browser, in which not a single security hole was noticed.
Chrome, Edge and Opera are based on the same Chromium engine, but with different approaches to browser refinement. In general, 3159 vulnerabilities were found in Google Chrome, 2361 in Mozilla Firefox, and 1139 in Safari. Microsoft Edge and Opera rounded out the top five with 806 and 344 vulnerabilities, respectively.
