Goalie Shesterkin won the NHL All-Star Game as part of Matthews’ team

Auston Matthews’ team beat Connor McDavid’s team in the final of the National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star Game. Both teams featured Russian goalkeepers Igor Shesterkin and Sergei Bobrovsky, respectively.
The match ended with a score of 7:4. Pucks scored by: Clayton Keller (3), Mitchell Marner (8), Auston Matthews (9, 15), Filip Forsberg (12), Alex Debrincat (19), Mathew Barzal (19) – Boone Jenner (6), David Pastrnak ( 9), Leon Draisaitl (9), Tomas Hertl (19). Igor Shesterkin saved 7 out of 10 shots, Sergei Bobrovsky – 10 out of 13. The Russian goalkeepers were replaced after the first period.
The match took place in a “3 on 3” format and consisted of two periods of 10 minutes. Matthews was named Most Valuable Player.
