Gladkov: today there is no enemy in the Belgorod region

On the territory of the Belgorod region, including in Novaya Tavolzhanka, there is no enemy. About it informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

“Today there is no enemy on the territory of the Belgorod region. Many people ask about New Tavolzhanka. There is no enemy in Novaya Tavolzhanka. There are a lot of insinuations, everyone is trying to solve personal problems by commenting on our situation, trying to increase the level of their audience,” Gladkov said in a video message.

He added that the problems of the inhabitants of the region can be solved, but not all yet. “Our main advantage is honesty between the authorities at all levels and the population,” Gladkov said.

As a support for people forced to move from border settlements, Gladkov announced “credit holidays”. He also added that the region will take over the payment of utilities from June 1. Earlier it was reported that the evacuated residents can make two lump-sum payments.

Later, the Ministry of Defense reported that the DRG tried to penetrate the region across the river in the area of ​​​​the settlement, but an artillery strike was launched, as a result of which the enemy was “scattered and retreated.”

On June 5, Gladkov said that about 100 inhabitants remained in the village, and “we still cannot enter it.” Over the last day on Novaya Tavolzhanka was 105 arrivals, about 20 buildings damaged.

The shelling of the region has increased since the end of May. The governor reported more than 4,000 arrivals between May 27 and June 4. Yesterday, June 5, Gladkov announced at least 650 shells that had arrived in the region.

In the Belgorod region, the “yellow” level of terrorist danger is indefinitely valid. Also, from October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, a medium-level response regime was introduced in the region.
