In the Belgorod region, a Ukrainian drone twice dropped explosive devices on the village of Dolgoe, Valuysky urban district, as a result of the attack, no one was injured, Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.
“The enemy attacked the village twice with explosive devices dropped from UAVs. There were no casualties,” wrote He.
Gladkov clarified the scale of destruction after the UAV attack: the blast wave broke glass in one house, the facade was cut. In addition, one passenger car was damaged, and an infrastructure communications facility was damaged. Emergency crews and operational services are at the scene of the incident, the governor added.
Earlier today, September 2, Gladkov published data on Ukrainian military strikes in the region for August 31 and September 1. According to him, Belgorod, Borisov, Volokonovsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Krasnoyaruzhsky districts, as well as Graivoronsky, Novooskolsky and Shebekinsky urban districts were subjected to shelling. There were no casualties in any of the settlements of these territories.
At the end of August, the regional authorities reported on the formation in the Belgorod region of the second self-defense regiment. On July 5, Gladkov said that some self-defense units of the Belgorod Region would receive weapons. First of all, this concerns the battalions, which are located along the border.
A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region.
