Gladkov: more than half of the 1.7 thousand families who lost their homes due to shelling agreed to move

Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov handed over the keys to new apartments to the first nine families who were forced to leave the border Zhuravlevka, where a state of emergency has been introduced due to shelling from Ukraine.

According to Mr. Gladkov, more than half of the 1,744 families in need of housing have agreed to move, and 400 have already made their choice. The right to compensation is given to people who have completely lost their housing or it has become uninhabitable due to shelling. The region received 9.4 billion rubles from the federal center for the purchase of 1,744 apartments.
