The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the territory of the Belgorod region for the fourth time in a day. This time, the Balki farm came under fire, informed Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“There’s another shelling. There are no victims in the Balki farm of the Shebekinsky district. A shell knocked out the glazing in one private household. The power line was also damaged,” he wrote.
Gladkov clarified that the previously shelled settlements of Pankov, Leninsky and Pervomaisky were also left without electricity. He added that specialists will be engaged in the restoration during daylight hours.
Khutor Balki was shelled twice today, the first time in the morning. Then the APU attacked the village of Leninsky in the Shebekinsky urban district. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
Two hours later, the Ukrainian military fired upon the village of Dolgoye in the Valuysky urban district. Later was attacked Belgorod region, said Gladkov. In both cases, there were no casualties or injuries.
Against the backdrop of shelling in the Belgorod region, a “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat was introduced. The last time it was extended on January 5 – until January 20.
In addition, since October 19, 2022, the “medium response” regime has been in effect in the region. The decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In addition to the Belgorod region, the regime also applies to the Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions.
