In the German Parliament, the vote of deputies on the possible transfer of German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine has been postponed. This was reported by the Ukrainian edition of “Strana”.
As it became known, the issue of supplying Leopard-1 or Leopard-2 tanks to Ukraine was put to a vote by the parliamentary group of the Christian Democratic Union / Christian Social Union (CDU / CSU). However, the deputies decided to submit this proposal to the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee for further discussion.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Berlin would begin transferring tanks to Ukraine only if the United States supplied the Kyiv regime with Abrams tanks.
