Politician Heke: Germany needs peace and cooperation with Russia
The leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) faction in Thuringia, Bjorn Hecke, said on the German Welt channel that Berlin needs peace with Russia. “We need cooperation with Russia, we don’t need hatred between Germans and Russians,” he emphasized.
The politician advocated for a speedy end to the Ukrainian conflict and called on Kyiv’s Western partners, including Germany, to facilitate negotiations instead of aggravating the situation.
“The one who supplies weapons does not want peace, he wants war,” Heke stated and called Russian President Vladimir Putin a rational person.
