The French Ambassador to Russia Pierre Levy was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry because of a recent interview with the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Stéphane Sejournet. In a recent interview RFI the minister said that Paris is not interested in dialogue with Russian diplomats. According to Mr. Sejournet, the official statements of the Russian side are lies.

“We regard these statements by the head of the French Foreign Ministry as a conscious and deliberate action of the French side, aimed at undermining the very possibility of any dialogue between the two countries,” it says message Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ministry added that Mr. Sejournet’s statement about the statements of Russian diplomats is untrue. Mr. Levy was told that such rhetoric was unacceptable.

However, later the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that he had no information about the transfer of any new data by Paris.
