Germany has already recommended saving gas and electricity in winter

Already at the beginning of autumn, the Germans were advised to use energy sparingly in winter. This advice was made by the head of the Federal Network Agency of Germany Klaus Müller.

He specified that the gas storage is 94% full, and there are reasons to be optimistic about the future. But at the same time, you should not relax, because the risks have not gone away.

Müller drew attention to the fact that Germany has alternative sources of gas supplies. At the same time, he mentioned that Russia continues to supply gas to European countries. “If this were not the case, Southeast Europe would also have to be supplied with gas from other sources. And Germany should play an important role in these processes,” said the head of the Federal Network Agency.

Muller also recommended setting up gas equipment for optimal fuel consumption. Measures to reduce gas consumption were also advised by the German economist Veronica Grimm. Both politicians and economists pay attention to the fact that gas is still much more expensive than before the crisis.

Earlier, the head of the Alternative for Germany parliamentary faction said that cheap Russian gas was a blessing for the German economy. After the rejection of it, Germany is experiencing an economic recession.
