Gas to the rescue: the additional gasification program continues in the Voronezh region

First – gas, then – moving

Mikhail spent his entire life in his native village of Novaya Usman (Novousmansky district of the Voronezh region) on a street with the beautiful name Port Arthur and has no intention of changing it to a city. But you can thoroughly gain a foothold in your native land if you own it and cultivate it, which is what his family decided to do. In the meantime, our hero lives with his wife and one-year-old son in a rural apartment building. He works for himself as an individual entrepreneur, and his wife is currently on maternity leave. The idea of purchasing a plot of land came to the couple at the moment when gas was installed in the village.

– In our area in Novaya Usman, gas was installed three years ago, then I started thinking about building a private house. At the moment we live in an apartment with our family. Owning a home with your own land is my wife and I’s dream. I really wanted the child to grow up in the fresh air, and the wife to be able to grow flowers on her own plot.

They decided to make their dream come true at the beginning of this year. First of all, I submitted an application for gas supply and only then began construction. In January, on the recommendation of Mezhregiongaz employees, I began collecting the necessary documents and at the same time began to build the foundation of the house. We can say that it was the gas supply plan that became the start in realizing our dream.

By June, the house itself, with an area of 100 square meters, had already been erected, which means it became possible to pipe gas directly to the living quarters. The construction team arrived at the work site on time, installed an underground pipe, installed a riser near the house and brought the gas pipe itself down the street into the premises.

The building will be heated using gas; a wall mounted gas boiler has already been installed. “I installed heated floors in the house, and the main character in our kitchen was a four-burner gas stove, which my wife immediately fell in love with. I really love her cutlets,” says Mikhail, laughing.

Connecting the house to gas

And while the work in the house is not yet completed, the one-year-old baby is running around the cold floors of the apartment. However, the family is already looking forward to the moment when they won’t have to worry about the child playing on the floor.

“The impressions from gasification are very positive, but the most important ones will be when we move into a new warm and cozy house. We expect this event to happen in October,” sums up the head of the family.

Now available

Alexander Maslennikov from the Voronezh village of Malysheva dreamed of gasifying his home for a long time. I figured out how much it would cost and tried it on. But he was temporarily burdened by the fact that the building was owned by “three owners.” Even with relatives – a sister and aunt, who inherited the house. The relatives’ shares had to be bought out. When all the bureaucratic and family delays were over, the idea of gasification became more relevant than ever. And by that time the presidential program was already in effect.

“I have lived in this house since childhood. I left Malyshev several times. But it always pulled me back. There is still land here. Plot of 10 acres. But they always heated it with a stove. Gas came to the village a long time ago, almost in the 90s, I don’t remember exactly. But then it was very expensive. And now it has become available. Previously, 200 thousand were needed, given the money. And here I ended up with about 50 thousand, it seems,” says Alexander.

It is important to note here that the preferential program involves supplying gas to the boundaries of the site. However, there are a number of categories of citizens who are entitled to compensation for work carried out on the site, in the house, as well as for the purchase of equipment. Maslennikov fell into one of them. He was compensated from the budget for part of the equipment costs.

First of all, like many whose homes have been filled with blue fuel, Alexander speaks, of course, about relief during the heating season. Before gas, a stove was always lit in his house. Firewood and coal. A machine of firewood on the scale of a LAWN would cost about 15 thousand rubles – and this is based on acquaintances. “Besides, this is firewood in lumps – not chopped. The split ones are much more expensive. That’s why they added coal – it’s cheaper. If it weren’t for coal, the carload of firewood would have run out in January,” says the owner of the house.

He learned about the program from stories on TV. Then friends shared their experience: quickly and inexpensively, they say. Subsequently, everything was confirmed in practice. I submitted an application, it was processed, and a date was set, exactly when the specialists arrived.

It became easier not only with heating, but also with cooking. Alexander still remembers how his grandmother cooked in the house, who cooked only in a wood-burning oven. “The taste was somehow special. But here, I think, it depends on the hands. Grandma always cooked very tasty food. I think she could cook just as well on a gas stove,” he adds. Now he himself will cook on gas for his daughter and beloved granddaughter, who sometimes come to visit.

Lawn and potatoes

The trend of moving from an apartment building to a private one is also supported by Nikita Polukhin, who bought a house in Semiluki. I wanted to be closer to the ground. And even try your hand at growing various crops – your own, your own, something that no one has sprayed with muck. And so the decision came.

Voronezh region. Semiluki village. Nikita Polukhin’s house has already been gasified

The newly built house stands on a plot of 15 acres, which has yet to be developed. Polukhin admits that it will most likely not be possible to do this right away: the territory is too large. And there is still a lot to be placed on it. Separately, the family is happy with the parking space – they don’t have to look for a place near the house every day. “I’m mainly planning a lawn. But there will also be some potatoes – to a minimum. And the rest is also quite a bit. But I’ll plant everything anyway – I have to try,” sums up Nikita. It will be more fun, comfortable and spacious for children too. There are two of them in the family, a boy and a girl: 9 years old and only one more year old.

The house already has a gas boiler. No other options were considered. And so it’s clear – heating with gas is definitely many times cheaper. The head of the family was told about the program by his brother, who had already undergone this procedure and was satisfied. “Brother, of course, is pleased. If he didn’t like it, then I wouldn’t apply. “And so, everything is fine,” Nikita says in a military manner, laconically and specifically. He works for the Ministry of Defense.

The specialists who carried out the gas did the same job. Even ahead of schedule. “So everything went even better than I planned,” summarizes Polukhin.
