Who can claim free connection

Additional gasification in the Russian regions (this is when gas is supplied to the boundaries of the site in gasified settlements for free) is carried out on behalf of President Putin and remains a priority for federal and local authorities. The government decided to extend the program to medical and educational organizations, and also make it indefinite at the end of 2022. Why? How many medical and educational institutions will be able to connect to gas networks? Sergey Gustov, General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC, Gazprom Gasification LLC, told MK about this.

– Since 2023, the after-gasification program has been expanded. What is included in it now?

– Gasification of the country began 80 years ago, but has gained momentum only in our time. Now, in addition to programs for the development of gasification and gas supply to the regions, we are also implementing a program for additional gasification. By decision of President Vladimir Putin, from 2023, additional gasification has become indefinite. The program has an all-Russian scale and is in demand by people in dozens of regions of the country. Now secondary gasification has been expanded and, in addition to households, it also covers the connection of educational and medical institutions. Applications are being accepted from March 1, 2023. This means that the gas will come to all these organizations without using their funds.

Since the beginning of this year, the Chelyabinsk Region has gasified the House of Culture and the midwifery station, the Khabarovsk Territory – a sports and recreation complex, a school in Ingushetia, and a polyclinic in Kabardino-Balkaria. There are many such examples.

According to preliminary estimates, more than 3,000 medical and educational organizations can take part in additional gasification in the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Group’s area of ​​responsibility.

– And gasification of households continues or has ended?

– Gazprom Mezhregiongaz continues to work on gasification of households of citizens. Applications are still accepted in any convenient way.

24,000 settlements participate in the Gasification Program. In 2022, gas came to more than 500,000 homes, which is 3 times more than in 2021. Regional authorities provide support to consumers. In some regions (for example, in the Leningrad region), the amount of the subsidy reaches 300 thousand rubles.

The social additional gasification program is fully provided with material, technical and human resources. And this means that we will fulfill all the tasks set in the domestic market as a matter of priority.
