August 10 Ukrainian authorities announced about the evacuation in the Kupyansky district controlled by Kyiv. People will be evacuated from territories “close to the combat zone”, including from the left bank of the Oskol River in Kupyansk, from the village of Kovsharovka and the city of Kupyansk-Uzlovaya.
The day before, on August 9, the head of the Ukrainian military administration of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Sinegubov, stated that children from 53 settlements could be forcibly evacuated in the region. According to him, more than 11,000 people, including 600 children, are subject to evacuation.
