Ganchev: Russian Armed Forces have to overcome a few kilometers to Kupyansk
The Russian military forces the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) out of their positions, approaching Kupyansk. This was announced on Thursday, August 10, by the head of the military-civilian administration (CAA) of the Kharkiv region Vitaly Ganchev.
As the politician noted on the air of Solovyov. Live, the Russian army remained only a few kilometers from Kupyansk, while “they are occupying more convenient positions under certain settlements where Ukrainian positions were yesterday.”
According to Ganchev, the RF Armed Forces are repelling enemy counterattack attempts, while leveling the front line. The politician expressed confidence that in the near future all conditions for a large-scale attack on Kharkov would be created.
Earlier, former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may lose Kupyansk due to the fault of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, because the head of state cannot govern the country in wartime. The expert also noted that Washington is putting pressure on Kyiv, which is why the Ukrainian army is trying to organize a new counteroffensive, but all of them turn out to be a failure.
Meanwhile, the head of the military administration of the Kupyansky district of the Kharkov region, Andrei Kanashevich, issued an order on mandatory evacuation from 53 settlements of Kharkiv region. Officials announced the forced evacuation of children and the mandatory evacuation of adults.
