British actor Darren Kent has died at the age of 36 after a long and difficult battle with illness, according to Carey Dodd Associates on Platform X (formerly Twitter).
“With deep regret, we are forced to announce the death of our dear friend and honored client, Darren Kent. During his illness, close relatives were always with him, surrounding him with care and love. During this difficult period, our thoughts are directed to his family. May the earth be rest in peace, our friend,” the message reads.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor suffered from osteoporosis, arthritis and a rare skin condition.
Darren Kent has gained recognition for his acting, especially his name became famous after his role in the tenth episode of the fourth season of the popular TV series Game of Thrones. In this series, he embodied the image of a simple shepherd, whose life is unexpectedly intertwined with the fate of Queen Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke. His character tried to show the queen the remains of his daughter, who died from the fire of one of her dragons.
