Galkin and Slepakov went to court: jokes with foreign agents are over

They went in a bunch: the foreign agent Zemfira, the foreign agent Galkin, the foreign agent Slepakov, the foreign agent Varlamov filed suits to remove the status of a foreign agent from them. And what happened? Are the jokes over?

The main joke was this: give me the status of a foreign agent, this is a direct honorary recognition of resistance to the “bloody regime” of the Russian state, the stamp in the passport of a “good Russian”, who has nothing to do with the “bad Russians” – the Russian people – having nothing. After all, they really asked, they were proud.

And then suddenly – on you, let’s unanimously pull off the white coat, tearing off the buttons and getting tangled in the sleeves. Did you suddenly see the light in a foreign land, understand where the truth is, yearn for birch trees?

In the wonderful film “Brother-2” there is a very accurate phrase: “Here, in general, everything is just like that, except for money.”

And the runaway “creative intelligentsia” is running out of money. Because in conditions of real market competition, without the support of the hated state, without budget funding, the “kings” turned out to be naked. The scene is like in a Russian provincial recreation center – their maximum. And “knowledge” in urban planning, design and other smart thoughts of Russian “experts” that “Putin’s regime has two days left” are of no interest to anyone there. But I don’t want to eat pasta in a naval way, but at the same level.

Now let’s just see why the status of a foreign agent began to interfere so much?

Two points – it is forbidden to make deals with political parties and receive financial support from the state, including for creative activities – can be omitted. No, theoretically, of course, one can imagine that Galkin (not if he were a foreign agent) will receive a contract from some Russian party to campaign in Brighton among those Russians who vote abroad. But this is a very spherical horse in a vacuum. They left – so they left.

But the next two points of prohibitions are important.

So, foreign agents are prohibited from taking part in the procurement of goods, works, services to meet state and municipal needs. But the same Varlamov, and other current foreign agents made money on this. For what merits they received government contracts (if it now turns out that their level of competence is near zero) is a question for people in uniform.

Well, the icing on the cake is that companies with state participation were forbidden to conclude contracts with foreign agents. The coupletist Slepakov, for example, was the face of an advertising campaign for a state-owned bank. The contract value is 750 million rubles. What did Slepakov have to do so exclusive to receive such money? Can not imagine.

But it’s not just about advertising. Corporate parties were also covered. No one forbids foreign agents to come here. Only speaking in front of an audience fat from state money will no longer work.

Only in order to start milking “dense Russia” again, and for nothing more, they need to remove the status of a foreign agent. And the principles and position … Well, what are you, really. We joked and that’s enough.
