Funds reported a decrease in the number of donations to Ukrainian refugees

The volume of donations to help refugees from Ukraine has decreased compared to the first months of the NWO, RBC reports citing charitable organizations.

The House with a Lighthouse refugee fund said that there were a lot of donations in the spring and summer of 2022, now they are getting smaller.

“Unfortunately, apparently, people have become addicted or someone has lost the opportunity to help,” said Lida Moniava, head of the fund.

According to Moniava, the foundation receives half as many donations as “than, for example, at the end of the summer.”

The Center for Social and Legal Support of IDPs “Art of Living” reported that donations were collected “poorly” and there was a shortage of baby food and hygiene items. According to Yulia Nikiforova, director of the center, last February a Coordinating Council for Assistance to Refugees was set up in Voronezh, which included a number of NGOs. Over time, “resources began to dwindle”, some organizations “returned to their main activities” or “switched to help the mobilized and their families.”

Another fund noted that the peak of support for refugees from Ukraine occurred in the first months of the NWO, but its level remained high even after: in 2022, donations increased several times compared to 2021.

The church headquarters for helping refugees in Belgorod reported that the demand for assistance is sometimes higher than the capabilities of the headquarters. Basically, there is a lack of food, medicines, hygiene products. And the church headquarters for helping refugees in Moscow is also experiencing difficulties with the issuance of bedding, dishes and household appliances.
