Funds for the Russian Archery Championship will be found in Transbaikalia

The exact amount for holding the Russian archery championship in Transbaikalia has not yet been determined in the draft regional budget for next year, but the regional Ministry of Finance has promised to find these funds. The question was raised at a meeting of the committee on budget and tax policy of the regional Legislative Assembly by deputy Darima Dorzhieva, a correspondent of MK in Chita said.

She stressed that archery for Transbaikalia is the most productive sport. An event of all-Russian significance and image character should be brought to the appropriate level.

“The initiator is the governor and the government, so we will definitely allocate money. When the exact estimate and the amount of extrabudgetary sources of funding are determined, then the amount of funds from the regional budget will be determined. This moment will be resolved,” said the head of the Ministry of Finance of the region, Vera Antropova.

Recallthat the championship is scheduled for the summer of 2023. The region needs at least 20 million rubles for its implementation.
