In the Kurgan region, 158 sports facilities for skiing and ice skating began to operate. The list of courts, skating rinks, ski slopes and bases is published on the website Office of Physical Culture and Sports of the Trans-Urals.
Governor Vadim Shumkov reported that in recent days three new courts have appeared in the Kurgan region: in Mishkino, Kurgan and Kurtamysh. Also, at the expense of regional funds and the federal project “Sport is the norm of life”, 20 hockey courts were opened.
A new ice arena is operating in Shadrinsk, a new ski base in Kurgan, and a landscape and sports park “Birch Grove” in Dalmatovo.
Earlier, MK-Ural reported that as part of a direct line, Vadim Shumkov said that in the sports field they repaired and built about a hundred open facilities, as well as four closed facilities.
Nine new stadiums have been repaired and built. Also, two sports complexes will be built in Kurgan, a swimming pool is being built in the Zaozerny microdistrict.
“A lot of plans. And everything is being implemented. I hope that everything will be done,” said Vadim Shumkov.
