Full house kickboxers performed at the Day of the Siberian Field in the Altai Territory

On June 29, kickboxing competitions were held at the site of the Siberian Field Day. They were attended by 12 athletes from different regions of the country. 10 of them already have high achievements in this kind of martial arts, two boys are only at the beginning of their sports career. Proof of fortitude and will to win

According to Dmitry Stepurko, vice-president of the Kickboxing Federation in the Altai Territory, the idea to hold an event that will unite several directions at once was born last year, when the Russian Kickboxing Championship was held in Barnaul. The head of the region and the Minister of Agriculture of the Altai Territory Sergey Mezhin attended the final battles.

And a year later, it was possible to implement it through joint efforts. More than a dozen people took part in the implementation of the project “Force of the Spirit of Russia”. These are representatives of the regional government, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Sports, educational institutions, public organizations, including Vladimir Shamanov’s Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, and numerous sponsors.

Athletes, in turn, noted the high level of organization of competitions. For children from other regions, they provided delivery, accommodation, meals. And the venue of the competition, they believe, meets all standards.

“Two months ago, representatives of the kickboxing federation came to me and reminded me of our idea to combine the topics of sports and agribusiness. The guys promised that it would be not only interesting, but also useful in terms of patriotic education. And as we can see, the idea was a success. The Russian people have always been famous for plowmen and warriors. And this event is proof of fortitude and the will to win,” said Sergey Mezhin, Minister of Agriculture of the Altai Territory.

The representative of the governor in the Altai Territory Legislative Assembly, Natalya Kuvshinova, added that now it is especially important to pass on to the younger generation such values ​​as respect for elders, love and devotion to loved ones, to the Motherland. And this event, she believes, will undoubtedly contribute to patriotic education.

The coach of the club “Stik-Yuzhny” Albert Mkrtychev brought with him a whole team of young pupils to cheer for Arseniy Khalturin, who competed in the children’s match.

“When children see such fights, and grown-up guys fought at the highest level today, they learn to overcome excitement, prepare to enter the ring, win. Yes, Arseniy could not cope with the excitement today, but he did not lose, but gained new experience and was able to see professional fights, ”the coach said.

Everyone has their own victory

He added that the idea of ​​combining sports and an agricultural forum is quite appropriate, because every fighter is in his own business. Some are in the ring and some are in the field. The main thing, Albert Mkrtychev believes, is that the theme of patriotism was the key line.

“The more values ​​we instill in our guys, the fewer men will stand at the border crossings, trying to avoid military service. You understand what I’m talking about now,” he said.

Kickboxer Alexander Gurov from the Altai Territory noted that martial art gives self-confidence, will, and the desire to win. He has been engaged in this type of martial arts for the seventh year and already has the title of master of sports.

“It was nice to see so many boys and girls in the audience. I hope that our performances will charge them with a desire to try themselves in sports, and we will see some of them in the ring among the winners in due time, ”said Alexander.

Summing up the results of the event, Dmitry Stepurko thanked all those involved in its holding, noting that through joint efforts, it was held at the highest level.

Director-organizer, director of the Siberian event agency Victoria Romanova expressed confidence that the guests were satisfied:

For several hours of competition, she received a large number of positive reviews, because the audience not only saw professional fights, but performances by creative teams that sang patriotic songs from the stage. The headliner of the cultural program was Nikolai Emelin, who once supported the Olympic boxing champion Alexander Povetkin with the song “My Motherland Siberia”, and at the agricultural forum – all the fighters entering the ring and farmers who win their victory in the field from year to year.
