Red Square, Lenin’s Mausoleum and the necropolis near the Kremlin wall will be closed to visitors on June 24. This was reported by the press relations department of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
It is noted that the introduction of the ban is associated with the holding of events. It is not clear what kind of events are involved. As a reminder, proms are scheduled for tomorrow in the capital’s schools. the city will host the “Graduate” event and a ball in Gorky Park.
Earlier, information was already circulating that on the day of the graduation ball, Ilyinka and Varvarka streets would be closed to traffic. They will also ban parking from Novaya to Red Square.
