As MK was told in the press service of the Lublin District Court, the blogger is required to reimburse 302 thousand rubles spent on the treatment of the victim of the accident, in which Edward Beal was guilty. The thing is that Maria Artemova, who suffered in an accident, received medical assistance in a specialized clinic. The treatment was paid for by the insurance fund, and now the bill has been redirected in a lawsuit to the culprit of the mass accident.
As MK found out, the blogger’s lawyer Alexander Nikitin, he hears about this lawsuit for the first time and is not aware of the details of the application.
Recall that in April 2021, while driving a sports car, Eduard Biel flew into the oncoming lane on the Garden Ring and caused a massive accident. During the investigation, it turned out that he raced at a speed of 115 km / h and lost control. There were about 400 traffic violations behind the car. As a result of the accident, several people were injured, Maria Artemova the most. She received ruptures of the internal organs and open fractures of the legs and a fracture of the pelvis. In the process of litigation, Eduard paid material compensation to all the victims. A settlement agreement was signed with Maria Artemova. Despite this, the blogger was sentenced to 1 year and 2 months in a penal colony. In November 2022, he was released.
