Buildings in Mariupol that were damaged during the hostilities and demolished as buildings unsuitable for restoration began to be processed into concrete chips. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the director of the municipal enterprise “Kommunalnik” Dmitry Khadzhinov. According to him, concrete chips will subsequently be used in road construction.
“The Ministry of Construction of Russia handed over to us four crushing plants, – said the source of the agency, – and four “Roar” installations for separating concrete into four fractions.”
He also said that a mobile shredding unit had arrived.
The representative of the company indicated that by now, about 2.5 million tons of such waste have been received at the organized site for the accumulation of construction waste. The landfill area is 37 hectares.
