Parisien reports that in the French city of Lyon, an elderly man died and his son was poisoned after trying to poison bedbugs. It is noted that a can of a “super-strong” anti-bed bug remedy, banned for sale in the European Union, was found in the apartment.
As noted in the publication, on October 29, the son of the injured man named Alan discovered his 87-year-old father, who was motionless and breathing heavily. Along with him was Alan’s 63-year-old brother, who lived with his father, and was also unconscious. Both victims were taken to the neurology department.
Alan told the publication that doctors told him that his father had a cerebral hemorrhage. Parisien added that the elderly man subsequently died.
