[ad_1]
The Paris Prefecture of Police released a statement saying that the department has allowed police officers to use drones in the French capital to collect, record and transmit images. The permit concerns public roads and will be valid from the evening of July 2 until the morning of July 3.
The police also received the right to use drones to collect information in the northern suburbs of Paris and some communes of the western suburbs.
It is assumed that the collected data will contribute to the fight against riots in France.
