Free tours “Walking around Moscow” are held in August

40 author’s excursions will be held in the districts of the capital as part of the project “Walking around Moscow” and programs “My region”. On them you can learn about the unique recreation areas on the outskirts of the capital.
During August, you can take a walk along Northern Chertanov, where there are no usual roads, and an underground city is spread under the houses. Find out what event in the park of the Petrovsko-Razumovskoye estate served as the plot for Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel “Demons”, or get to the Bald Mountain, which Konstantin Stanislavsky walked along and which Mikhail Bulgakov described in the novel “The Master and Margarita”.
All excursions are copyrighted. Duration of walks is from 1.5 to 3 hours. Tours are free, but pre-registration is required. Schedule and online registration are available on the project website “Walking around Moscow”.
More than 500 walking routes are available for citizens, most of which are free.
