Fraudsters who organized a fake call center for the selection of caregivers for caring for the sick were exposed by police officers

As MK learned, scammers posted advertisements on websites for the provision of services to look after inactive citizens. Those who contacted them were offered to communicate with the “nurse” via video conference, and then they were sent contracts and payment details. Trusting citizens transferred money, after which the scammers stopped communicating. According to the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Irina Volk, in St. Petersburg, police officers with the support of the Russian Guard detained the organizers of the call center: three women and six men.
