In Chelyabinsk, fraudsters first lured 2 million rubles from a pensioner, and then made her a courier. This is reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
The attackers deceived an 81-year-old elderly woman, forcing them to transfer 2 million rubles to them according to the standard scheme. After that, they found another grandmother, with whom they did the same. However, after transferring the money to her account, the pensioner could not withdraw it from the ATM.
Resourceful criminals contacted the first victim of the scam and through manipulation convinced her to bring them funds from another grandmother.
Only after transferring the money to a third party, the 81-year-old woman realized that it was a fraudulent scheme. The pensioner contacted the police, they are looking for the perpetrators.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the crime under the article “Fraud”.
