Fraudster sent Russian chocolate instead of equipment for 10 million rubles

The department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kaliningrad region reported the arrest of a fraud suspect in Moscow. According to investigators, he posed as a wholesaler for the delivery of expensive smartphones. He took money from “clients”, but instead of gadgets he sent them chocolates.
It is assumed that the suspect deceived at least six residents of the Kaliningrad region, one of whom gave him about 10 million rubles.
The suspect was taken to Kaliningrad, a criminal case was opened against him under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, providing for up to 10 years in prison.
