Four 11th-graders will represent Russia at the Informatics Olympiad

On August 7, the 34th International Olympiad in Informatics will begin in Yogyakarta (Indonesia). The Russian team participates in it remotely: the guys are located on the basis of the MIPT campus, where they will solve the Olympiad problems.
Our team in the intellectual competition is represented by four 11th-graders: Fedor Romashov (SESC MSU), Vsevolod Nagibin from Gymnasium No. 6 “Ermine” from Novosibirsk, Alexander Babin, a graduate of school No. 149 from Krasnoyarsk, and Danila Klishch from Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 31 of Chelyabinsk. As part of their participation in the Olympiad, the children will have to go through two rounds: on August 10 and 12.

The 34th International School Olympiad in Informatics has been held annually since 1989. The founder of the Olympiad in 1988 was UNESCO. Last year, teams from 80 countries of the world took part in it. As a result of the competition, Russian schoolchildren won three gold and one silver medals.
