Forward “Ural” faces 3.5 years in prison for a fatal accident

Prosecutors in the Netherlands have requested a 3.5-year prison sentence for Ural Yekaterinburg striker Ray Vlut for a fatal car accident.
In November 2021, Vloet, while intoxicated, became a participant in an accident in which a 4-year-old child died. According to the prosecution, the football player was driving at a speed of 203 km per hour and did not try to slow down or turn off to avoid a collision with another car in which the boy was. The child died in the hospital from his injuries.
At the beginning of the proceedings, Vloet admitted that before the accident he was at a party where he drank two or three glasses of alcohol.
In addition to a prison term, Raya can be deprived of a driver’s license for four years.
This season, the 27-year-old striker has played 14 matches for the Yekaterinburg club and scored five goals.
