The founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that Azamat Uldarov, a former fighter of a private military company, was recognized as a victim in a criminal case on acts of a sexual nature (132 of the Criminal Code) and is under state protection. Mr. Prigozhin criticized the actions of the investigation. In his opinion, Uldarov should be prosecuted for discrediting the formations assisting the Russian army (280.3 of the Criminal Code).

Earlier, the human rights project Gulagu.net published a video showing Azamat Uldarov being humiliated and raped in OTB-1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Saratov Region. In addition, as Yevgeny Prigozhin said earlier, the second fighter, Alexei Savichev, told the PMC that he was raped in the White Swan prison. According to Mr. Prigozhin, both Savichev and Uldarov, when they entered the Wagner PMC, concealed the fact that they were “lowered” in the colony, and thus “forced” their colleagues from Wagner.

After that, Azamat Uldarov, in an interview with RT, said that he made this statement due to blackmail and pressure from the founder of Gulagu.net Vladimir Osechkin (recognized as a foreign agent), who threatened to publish a video in which he was bullied in the colony. Alexey Savichev, in turn, said that he gave an interview to Gulagu.net for money.

Yevgeny Prigozhin claims that either representatives of the criminal community, or employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service, or both, clearly collaborated with Vladimir Osechkin, since the sexual abuse of Uldarov was recorded on the video recorder OTB-1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Saratov Region.
