Former US spy Ritter: Russia is defined in America through the word “Putin”

Ex-US spy Scott Ritter during a conversation with Vladimir Solovyov on the air US Tour of Duty stated that the inhabitants of the United States of America cannot understand Russia, and the only person through whom they can explain it is Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to him, in America it is very difficult to educate people by telling them about the reality that is happening in Russia. One of the main reasons is the degree of ignorance.
“Americans do not know Russia, they do not understand and cannot explain it. Currently, in our country they explain the Russian Federation through one person – Vladimir Putin,” Ritter said.
Ritter said that he recently spent 26 days in Russia. In Russia, he traveled a lot and talked to different people in order to understand the local reality.
