A two-year-old girl who went missing in St. Petersburg was found alive. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city and the Leningrad Region.
It is specified that the night before, a resident of St. Petersburg contacted the police, who reported the disappearance of her two-year-old daughter. The child was with the woman’s common-law husband, but due to alcohol intoxication, the latter forgot the girl on the street and could not explain to the police exactly where this happened.
Thanks to the operational work of the outdoor police squads, the child was soon found at a service station, where she was brought by a family friend working as a security guard. In the near future, the girl should be handed over to her mother.
