Former goalkeeper of Rotor Volgograd Viktor Guz has died

The famous football player was 52 years old.
A native of the city of Prokhladny in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, Viktor Guz began his football career in the Torpedo team from Volzhsky, and then moved to Rotor. The goalkeeper played for the Blue-Blues in the Major League matches of the USSR Championship in 1989 and 1990.
In addition, Victor Guz played for such clubs as Volgar-Gazprom from Astrakhan, Orenburg Gazovik, Kosmos from the Moscow region, as well as several teams from Kazakhstan.
In 1987, as part of the country’s youth team, the goalkeeper won a gold medal at the world championship.
In 2004, Victor Guz began his coaching career. The former football player worked in many Russian clubs, in particular in Olimpia from Volgograd.
