A magnetic storm will hit the Earth on Sunday night. Meteorologist Mikhail Leus warned Russians about this in his Telegram channel. He noted that the “disturbances” of the magnetic field will not be strong and will most likely correspond to class G1.
This state will last until mid-Sunday. Then the geomagnetic field will simply remain in an unstable state. At the same time, the expert noted that even the weakest geomagnetic disturbance can affect the operation of devices. And weather-sensitive people should take care of their health.
Leus recalled that the Sun is approaching the peak of its 25th cycle. Magnetic storms reach the Earth more and more often and become stronger. So less than a week ago, on November 5, a G3 storm hit us. It was the strongest since the end of April.
