Forecasters do not rule out that strong warming and sunny weather are highly likely to occur in Moscow in the second ten days of October. This was reported by leading specialist of the Phobos Weather Center Evgeny Tishkovets.
“October promises to be 3 degrees warmer than normal with a 20% lack of precipitation,” the specialist said.
He believes that due to such forecasts, the estimated start date of the heating season may be shifted by two weeks and will fall in the second half of October.
Earlier, Tishkovets reported that on the night from Sunday to Monday the strongest in September is expected in the Russian capital shower. Up to 7-10 millimeters of precipitation is expected (15% of the monthly norm).
