Abnormal heat is approaching the south of Turkey, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He noted that this heat is provoked by a “thermal explosion”, and earlier its effects were felt in Europe.
So, already on Saturday in Turkey, the temperature is expected to rise to 45 degrees Celsius, while the water will warm up to 26 degrees. At the same time, in the north of the country the temperature will be lower, but still very high, up to 35 degrees.
At the same time, he said that Russia was not threatened by abnormal heat from the Sahara, moreover, the temperature in the central part of the country would be slightly below normal.
