Traffic on some streets in Kazan will be blocked on May 19 due to the All-Russian half marathon “ZaBeg.RF”. The city administration warned about the upcoming traffic restrictions.
Traffic will be closed from 06:30 to 12:30 on Podluzhnaya Street from the exit from the Millennium Bridge to building No. 17 in both directions, including the exit from the residential sector towards Tolstoy. The exit from the Millennium Bridge to Podluzhnaya will also be blocked. They also warn about a temporary ban on traffic along Vishnevsky at the exit to Podluzhnaya.
Participants of the “ZaRag” will be offered distances of 1, 5, 10 and 21.1 km. Those interested in joining the event are encouraged to register in advance.
Last year’s half marathon in Kazan attracted about two thousand participants. Then, for their convenience, Chistopolskaya Street and Sibgata Khakim were blocked.
