Football players from the Lulpan Center for Orphans entered the top three finalists of the tournament “The Future Depends on You”

The All-Russian football competition “The Future Depends on You” has ended in the Krasnodar Territory. In the final, 16 strongest teams gathered – pupils of orphanages and boarding schools.

The players came from all over Russia: Moscow, Leningrad, Tver, Orenburg, Magadan, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kirov regions, Primorsky Krai, the republics of Adygea and Mari El. The fight was for the main prize – a trip to the football summer camp of the FC Barcelona Academy in Sochi, where they will be trained according to the methodology of a club with a world history.

In the junior group, the winner was Athletic from the Zubtsovsky orphanage in the Tver region. In second place is the Mars team from the Lulpan Center for Orphans, the Republic of Mari El. The third was the team from the secondary boarding school of the city of Sosnovka, Kirov region “Breakthrough”

The leaders in the older age group were the guys from the Inter team of the Orenburg Children’s House. The second place was taken by the Mednoye team of the Mednovskaya sanatorium boarding school from the Tver region. Adyghe teenagers from the club “Nadezhda” of the Maikop special educational institution took the third place in this category.

In addition to the competitions, the players were treated to an active entertainment program organized by MegaFon: a trip to the Sochi Park amusement park, a tour of the legendary Fisht Olympic Stadium.

Sports principles are close to us, and it is no coincidence that we have been supporting Russian sports for many years. Since 2005, more than 41 thousand children have taken part in the project, each of them received something of their own, many found new friends and even families. MegaFon gives each participant of the championship a chance to make their dream come true, to once again prove to themselves and the whole world that the future depends on you,” says Mikhail Kozlov, head of MegaFon’s Sochi subdivision.

A large-scale sporting event is held by MegaFon throughout the country. This is the only federal-level project for children in state care, aimed not only at their physical development, but also at socialization and the promotion of family structure. The project is supported by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Russian Football Union.
