The Solntsevsky Court of Moscow ruled Tuesday on the lawsuit filed by football player Dmitry Khokhlov against Meta Platforms, Inc. (the organization is recognized as extremist in Russia).
Recall that the star of the Moscow Dynamo and the Russian national team was outraged that the Meta social network (recognized as extremist in Russia) blocks posts mentioning his last name.
According to a correspondent from the courtroom, Khokhlov was awarded compensation in the amount of 64 million rubles for the damage inflicted on his name, 1 million rubles in compensation for non-pecuniary damage and 571,000 rubles for legal expenses incurred.
Representatives of Meta did not appear at the court session.
