“No one can say how productively he can do this, anything can happen, this is a risky business. Chalov’s competitors at Zenit will be all forwards. Zenit is decently staffed. All transfers within Russia do not guarantee a place in the starting lineup. Only a player from Barcelona or Real will be able to immediately get into the starting lineup, and everyone else will struggle,” Lepekhin said.
According to media reports, the transfer of 25-year-old Fedor Chalov is already being prepared. The St. Petersburg club offers the footballer a salary of 3.5 million euros per year. At the same time, CSKA offers him to extend his contract with an increase in salary. Fedor Chalov is a graduate of the Moscow club and has been playing for it since 2016. He was named the best player of 2023 in the RPL WORLD based on the “goal+pass” system.
